As a provider of Disability Employment Network (DEN) services Community Employment Options Inc plays a specialist role in helping people with disability get ready to look for a job, find a job and keep a job in the open labour market.

Free help and support

Community Employment Options Inc provides a range of supports to meet your individual needs, including:

• help to prepare for work including training in specific job skills
• job search support such as resume development, interview skills training and help to look for suitable jobs
• support when initially placed into a job, including on the job training and co-worker and employer supports
• ongoing support in a job if required
• purchase of vocational training and other employment related assistance
• access to help for your employer if required, such as workplace modifications.

Intermittent support

If you have received help from Community Employment Options Inc to find a job, you may be eligible to receive intermittent support. Intermittent support provides you with very short term support and assistance while in a job.

Job in jeopardy assistance

Community Employment Options Inc can also provide help in job in jeopardy situations. This means that if you are likely to lose your job as a result of issues related to your disability, you can access immediate assistance or support to keep that job.

Is Community Employment Options Inc. the right service for you?

Community Employment Options Inc can assist you if you have a disability that is permanent or likely to be permanent and results in a substantially reduced capacity for communication, learning or mobility.

Community Employment Options Inc may be able to support you if you require specialist assistance for more than six months after being placed in a job or require ongoing support to keep a job.
